Powell Stackhouse Park provides hikers, nature lovers, families and naturalists access to more than 277 acres of pristine Western Pennsylvania habitat.

Join white-tailed deer, gray and red squirrels, black bear, turkey, songbirds and birds of prey and utilize the park. Walk the vast expanse of trails, photograph wildlife, relax by the meandering stream, glory at the spring and autumn color -- be awestruck by nature.

Stackhouse is one of only two parks in the United States completely surrounded by municipalities. The other is Central Park in New York City.

Enjoy Shakespeare under a summer sky, participate in a wide array of clinics focused on the outdoors or simply relax under the shade of a historic pavilion and listen to the songs of nature.

When winter winds blow, cross country ski the mountain terrain, bring the kids out for Slide and Ride or walk under canopies of white after a fresh snowfall.

Glory in the splendor that is Stackhouse Park.

Located just outside the city of Johnstown, Stackhouse is open year round during daylight hours.
